Capital Caring will celebrate its 40th Anniversary with a special Passion for Caring Gala on November 11 at the MGM National Harbor Resort. September WFAHA Meeting: Presentation from Meagan Funn of HealthSouth

 

HealthSouth representatives speak on their requirements for admissions, preferred insurance providers, how HealthSouth has changed, any new services that they offer, any challenges that they are facing, what kind of patients/clients they are looking for, what would disqualify a patient from being able to be admitted, how referrals work/the process, preferred providers (MDs?), how they are getting around challenges from other rehab facilities, what their territory is, what other partnerships they have currently, and the criteria for Parkinson's patients.

Presentation: Alexandra Dixon will be speaking on HealthWorks for Northern Virginia, a nonprofit community health center located in Leesburg.

Alexandra Dixon is the Community Partnerships Coordinator for HealthWorks for Northern Virginia, a nonprofit community health center with locations in Leesburg and Herndon.  She has a Masters in Health Promotion from Marymount University and an undergraduate degree in Psychology from George Mason University.

Parkinson Social Networking Meeting

We'd love to see you at our new Café in Ashburn!

Come for the coffee, stay for the company and conversation!

We’ll meet here on the 3rd Wednesday of each month as of April 19. Please help us spread the word to our Parkinson community friends in Loudoun county!

For our first café, we'll meet our hostess, Chrystal Todd, and learn more about this brand new community. We'll also read our proclamation from the governor of Virginia recognizing April as Parkinson Awareness Month, and share our stories about the things we like to do.
