Amy Coppa serves as President of the Loudoun Senior Interest Network where she is dedicated to strengthening connections, creating opportunities, and improving the quality of life for older adults throughout Loudoun County.
With a strong passion for community engagement and senior advocacy, Amy brings people and organizations together to build meaningful partnerships and develop programs that make a tangible difference. She believes that aging should be celebrated and that seniors deserve to feel valued, connected, respected, and actively involved in the communities they call home.
Under Amy’s leadership, LSIN works to connect senior-focused businesses, organizations, professionals, caregivers, and community partners while providing resources, education, networking opportunities, and memorable experiences for older adults and their families.
Amy is particularly passionate about supporting locally owned organizations and community-based, recognizing the personal connection, responsiveness, and commitment to community that they often bring to the people they serve.
Through her leadership with LSIN, Amy continues to champion collaboration over competition and believes that when community organizations work together, everyone benefits—especially the seniors and families at the heart of the Loudoun community.

Andy is a results-driven management professional with 10+ years of experience seeking a challenging position in government project management to leverage his extensive leadership, project planning, and customer service experience.
Board Secretary: Suzi Serene, Serene Team Homes, Realtor, Seniors Real Estate Specialist, Senior Transition Specialist
Suzi began her real estate career here in Northern Virginia in 1995. Based in Ashburn, VA, she has worked with countless buyers and sellers in Loudoun and Fairfax Counties, as well as across the region. Utilizing her network, Suzi can help anyone with their real estate needs from across the county to around the world. No matter where a purchase or sale takes place, count on her for expert advice and referrals to professionals you can trust. Suzi's commitment to her clients accounts for her consistent achievements as one of the top agents in her company and in the region. Treasurer: - David Slupe Financial Advisor with Pegasus Financial Group
David brings a dual perspective to Loudoun Senior Interest Network, working at the intersection of financial planning and elder care coordination. As a licensed financial advisor with Pegasus Financial Group, David helps clients build sound financial plans for retirement and long-term care. As a Director at Aging Consultants Group, he extends that expertise into the day-to-day realities of aging — helping families navigate Medicare, long-term care insurance, Medicaid planning, estate documents, and care coordination as needs evolve.
This combination gives David a rare vantage point: he understands both the numbers behind a secure retirement and the practical, often emotional decisions families face as they support aging loved ones. As Treasurer of LSIN, he applies that same rigor and care to supporting the organization's mission of connecting Loudoun County's senior-serving community.
David is based in Ashburn, Virginia, and welcomes the opportunity to work alongside fellow professionals to ensure clients and families have the guidance they need at every stage of the aging journey.
Board Member: Brady Marsten, Ashleigh at Lansdowne, Senior Director of Sales & Community Relations
Brady is a native of Northern Virginia and moved to Florida to attend Florida State University, majoring in Hospitality Management. During his time in Florida, he rose to management with Hitlon & Marriott Hotels. Brady's transition from Hitlon to assisted living has been amazing process for him professionally. Brady has been with Retirement Unlimited in a leadership role sine late 2020.
Board Member: Lisa Householder, Care Connect Nova, LLC, Founder/CEO
Throughout the past three decades, Lisa has dedicated her career to providing compassionate and reliable care for seniors. Her journey began with the personal experience of managing the care for her elderly father and aunt, which created a passion that would shape her professional success. From establishing a non-medical in-home care agency in Central Pennsylvania to excelling as a Client Care Director in Northern Virginia, Lisa's unwavering commitment to senior care has never wavered.
In 2022, Lisa and her wife and business partner, Sheri Householder, founded Care Connect Nova, a company that offers exemplary companion concierge services for seniors. Together, they are forging impactful partnerships to ensure that their clients and their families navigate the complexities of aging with grace and support.
Lisa's dedication and entrepreneurial spirit have made a positive impact on the lives of countless seniors and their families.
Board Member: Sonia Gow, Inova Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Center (IPMDC), Program & Community Care Manager
Sonia has worked with the senior population for over 20 years and is an experienced patient advocate for people living with Parkinson’s and their families. In her role with IPMDC, she implements a wide range of educational, wellness, and supportive programs for the Parkinson’s community in northern Virginia, and raises funds to support these programs.
In the summer of 2023, IPMDC expanded its reach by establishing a new clinic in Loudoun. As an LSIN board member, Sonia is looking forward to continuing her efforts to connect with people in Loudoun and the surrounding areas.
Board Member: Chris Poland, The Compounding Center, Home Health Specialist
Chris Poland has been serving the Northern Virginia area with medical supplies and equipment for over 30 years to what is now The Compounding Center. He and his staff take great pride in keeping the seniors in our community mobile and independent so that they can continue to enjoy their life doing the things they love. This is Chris’s second time on the LSIN Board, leaving back in 2018 to help create a second senior support group called the Senior Resource Partners. In his free time Chris enjoys dragging his girlfriend, Marti, to Shania Twain concerts and outdoor hikes – whether she wants to go or not!
Board Member: Sally Gehl, Caregiver Services and Health , Promotion Coordinator for Loudoun County Area Agency on Aging
With over 20 years of experience, Sally has dedicated her career to supporting older adults and their caregivers, particularly those affected by memory loss.
Prior to her current role, Sally served as the Assistant Manager at the Eastern Loudoun Adult Day Center for 12 years. Her diverse background includes serving as a VICAP Program Assistant, Care Manager, Executive Director for an Assisted Living Facility, and a licensed nursing home administrator after completing an Administrator-in-Training program in a Continuing Care Retirement Community.
Sally’s journey in professional caregiving was shaped by assisting in the care of her grandmother who aged in place with the support of both family and non-family caregivers. This personal connection has fueled her commitment to provide support and improve the quality of life for individuals with memory loss and their families.
Board Member: Katie Verbano, Community Relations Specialist with SenCura Homecare
A proud graduate of Penn State University, where I studied Hospitality and Recreation Marketing Operations. My passion for service, leadership, and community engagement has shaped my career in senior care and homecare.
As a Community Relations Specialist with SenCura Homecare, I focus on building meaningful community partnerships, creating educational and engaging events, and connecting individuals and families with resources that enhance their quality of life. I am passionate about bringing people and organizations together to strengthen support for older adults and their families throughout Loudoun County.
I am honored to serve on the Board of the Loudoun Senior Interest Network (LSIN) and look forward to contributing my experience, energy, and commitment to advancing opportunities, resources, and connections that support healthy and positive aging in our community.
Board Member: Marybeth Forys, Director of Sales and Marketing – Morningside House of Leesburg
Marybeth brings many years of experience in sales and marketing to LSIN. When her dad passed away, she entered the world of senior care while finding new living arrangements for her mother. She had to deal with doctors, hospitals, home health care, moving companies, lawyers, and financial advisors. It was a stressful situation that required multiple moves until her mother was settled. This first-hand experience with all the facets of senior care enables Marybeth to connect with seniors and their families on a personal level as she helps them navigate one of the most difficult transitions in their lives. She brings knowledge, compassion, and a positive attitude to everyone she works with and feels blessed to have found her calling. When she is not at Morningside, she can be found spending time and hopefully travelling with her husband, three sons, and her Sheepadoodle.
Monthly Board Meetings:
LSIN Board Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 1:30pm. Meetings are open to everyone, but please RSVP prior to the meeting by contacting us.
