“Implementing Virtual Programming During the Early Stages of Dementia”
Kennedy O’Donnell will speak about his work with Insight Memory Care Center, and his journey implementing virtual programming for folks living in the early stages of dementia. He is excited to share news of virtual and in-person programming opportunities that are now extended to Loudoun residents!
About Our Speaker
Kennedy O’Donnell has been a dedicated member of Insight Memory Care Center’s community since 2014. Starting with intern and volunteer roles with the organization, he now serves as the coordinator of Insight’s early stage programs throughout the region. Kennedy has successfully expanded Insight’s in-person early stage program, Reconnections, to multiple locations in the Northern Virginia area. In March of 2020, Kennedy expanded this programming to the virtual world, creating a virtual early stage program that now serves a community of folks living with dementia across several states. Kennedy earned a B.S. in Neuroscience in 2016, and in his free time he is an avid rock climber, runner, and outdoor enthusiast living in McLean, VA.
