In 2007 he started Pegasus Financial Group, a Financial Life Management Firm, where the client-advisor relationship is focused solely on the client’s needs, goals, and dreams.  A primary area of focus is Life Planning for the Aging.  He is passionate about providing solutions for aging parents, seniors, or interested caregivers, that focus on proactive planning by incorporating housing options, health concerns, lifestyle preferences, and legacy wishes, while encouraging personal decisions, and reducing burdens to loved ones.

 

Board Secretary: Suzi Serene, Serene Team Homes, Realtor, Seniors Real Estate Specialist, Senior Transition Specialist

A long time-senior care advocate, Peggy Breda has been in the senior living industry for 24 years.  She has opened and managed several Assisted Living Communities in both Maryland and Virginia and is a licensed Assisted Living Administrator and Certified Director of Assisted Living (CDAL).  Now the owner and President of A Family Tie, LLC, she uses her years of experience to help families find the perfect senior living option for their unique needs.

 

Board Member: Erin Nesbitt, Area Agency on Aging, Elder Resources Case Manager

Erin has 20 years of experience working with older adults and caregivers providing case management and resident services. Since joining the Loudoun County Area Agency on Aging in 2018 she has connected numerous clients with local area services for optimal care and quality of life. Erin is a long-time resident of Northern Virginia and lives in Ashburn with her husband and two children.

 

Board Member: Brady Marsten, Ashleigh at LansdowneSenior Director of Sales & Community Relations

Brady is a native of Northern Virginia and moved to Florida to attend Florida State University, majoring in Hospitality Management. During his time in Florida, he rose to management with Hitlon & Marriott Hotels. Brady's transition from Hitlon to assisted living has been amazing process for him professionally. Brady has been with Retirement Unlimited in a leadership role sine late 2020.

 

Board Member: Lisa Householder, Care Connect Nova, LLC, Founder/CEO

Throughout the past three decades, Lisa has dedicated her career to providing compassionate and reliable care for seniors. Her journey began with the personal experience of managing the care for her elderly father and aunt, which created a passion that would shape her professional success. From establishing a non-medical in-home care agency in Central Pennsylvania to excelling as a Client Care Director in Northern Virginia, Lisa's unwavering commitment to senior care has never wavered.

In 2022, Lisa and her wife and business partner, Sheri Householder, founded Care Connect Nova, a company that offers exemplary companion concierge services for seniors. Together, they are forging impactful partnerships to ensure that their clients and their families navigate the complexities of aging with grace and support.

Lisa's dedication and entrepreneurial spirit have made a positive impact on the lives of countless seniors and their families.

 

Board Member: Sonia Gow, Inova Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Center (IPMDC), Program & Community Care Manager

Sonia has worked with the senior population for over 20 years and is an experienced patient advocate for people living with Parkinson’s and their families. In her role with IPMDC, she implements a wide range of educational, wellness, and supportive programs for the Parkinson’s community in northern Virginia, and raises funds to support these programs.

In the summer of 2023, IPMDC expanded its reach by establishing a new clinic in Loudoun. As an LSIN board member, Sonia is looking forward to continuing her efforts to connect with people in Loudoun and the surrounding areas.

 

Board Member: Chris Poland, The Compounding CenterHome Health Specialist

Chris Poland has been serving the Northern Virginia area with medical supplies and equipment for over 30 years to what is now The Compounding Center. He and his staff take great pride in keeping the seniors in our community mobile and independent so that they can continue to enjoy their life doing the things they love. This is Chris’s second time on the LSIN Board, leaving back in 2018 to help create a second senior support group called the Senior Resource Partners. In his free time Chris enjoys dragging his girlfriend, Marti, to Shania Twain concerts and outdoor hikes – whether she wants to go or not!
