A practicing pharmacist for over 29 years, Cheri Garvin is the President and CEO of The Compounding Center located in Leesburg, Va. Their employee-owned, PCAB accredited pharmacy offers sterile and non-sterile compounded medication and a full selection of medical equipment. Her goal is to make a difference for her customers and her community.
Balancing family and work is challenging, but Cheri finds time to be involved in her industry and the community. She mentors students, sits on several boards, volunteers and speaks at local schools, and for her pharmacy organizations. Cheri was recently honored as one of Loudoun’s top business women in Loudoun Business Journal, was awarded the SmartCEO Brava Achievement Award as a top female executive in the DC metro area and received the Evelyn Timmons Advocacy Award for her advocacy work on behalf of the pharmacy profession.
