  • General Information

    The Loudoun Senior Interest Network will host its 14th Annual Senior Expo on May 5, 2011 from 3:00 pm - 6:30 pm at The Community Church-Ashburn, 19790 Ashburn Road, Ashburn, VA 20147.

    Important Dates:
    LSIN Expo: Thursday, May 5, 2011 3:00 – 6:30 pm. Check-In: 2:00 p.m.
    Early Registration Deadline: Friday, April 1, 2011
    Final Registration Deadline: Friday, April 15, 2011
    Advertising Deadline: Friday, April 15, 2011
    Sponsorship Deadline: Friday, April 15, 2011 or until sold out

    We invite you to participate in the 2011 Senior Expo with an exhibit of the service(s) you provide for seniors, families and caregivers. This event always has a large turnout of seniors and their families and it is a great way to showcase your goods and services. We encourage exhibitors to offer an interactive activity, sample of services or giveaways at their exhibit.

    This year we are offering sponsorships as an additional way to display your organization. For details, please see the Advertising section below.

    There is a non-refundable fee for commercial exhibitors and non-profit organizations. There is no fee for governmental (federal, state or county) agencies. However, we are stressing early registration and a late fee of $25 will be applied to all exhibitors. Set-up will be from 2:00 - 3:00 pm; Exhibitors must agree to staff their exhibits until 6:30 pm.

    Exhibitors may wish to provide a door prize (e.g., a floral arrangement, a gift item or certificate from your own or a local business such as a restaurant or food store, etc.). Please contact Sherri Anderson or call 703-669-5248 about door prizes. If you want your larger door prize advertised, please notify Sherri in advance. Door prizes will be given out each half hour during the event. Please bring it to the Registration Desk upon your arrival.

  • Check-in Procedure

    Thank you for exhibiting at the 14th Annual Loudoun Senior Interest Network Senior Expo.

    Vendor Check in Time: 2:00 pm -- (please do not arrive too early, the church also serves as a school and we don’t want to interfere with the children’s lunch time)

    Where: Vendor check-in is around the side of the church, please follow the signs we will have posted. There is a loading dock to help make your unloading and loading easier. You might find it easier to pull up to the loading dock and check in before you park. We will have a welcome packet for you and directions to your table. For safety reasons -- Please do not bring boxes or supplies through the front door.

    Please keep in mind that the hospital wellness vans will be parked in front of the church, so we are requesting that vendors park along the sides of the church. Thank you for your cooperation on this.

    Vendor Hospitality: We will have directions to the vendor refreshments at your arrival.

    Electrical outlets: These will not be available, again, for safety reasons. We are sorry if this creates an inconvenience for anyone.

  • Advertising

    Advertising in the Resource Directory/Program:

    The program for this year’s expo will be produced as a directory of exhibitors, including contact information, articles of interest to the senior population and their families, and other resources for their use. The program will have a full-color inside front and back cover, 8 1/2” X 11”. All other advertisements and inside printing will be black and white only.

      Prices:
    • Color Ads (Full Page (8 ½” X 11”) inside front or back cover - $650
    • Black and White Ads Full Page (8 ½” X 11”) - $500
    • Black and White Ads ½ Page - $300
    • Black and White Ads ¼ Page - $200
    Expo Sponsorships - $300

    Fabric bags will be provided to all attendees of the Expo. Eight Sponsorships are being offered. Sponsors will receive the following: Name on bag, insertion of materials in bag, including: 1 piece of literature, 1 business card, and 1 giveaway.

    Advertising Deadline:  Friday, April 15, 2011.
